Well after the Science Olympiad competition; Heather and I stopped by my house before picking up Brittany for a girl's evening/dinner.We went to Olive Garden, chit chatted, and had a really good evening. It was fun and nice to just relax and talk for a bit. I realized now we're all of the age to be those "college kids" or "girls" out for an evening dinner. Our waiter probably thought we were all 18-20 and the people around viewed us as young college girls, having a night out. Which is cool and funny because I remember seeing young adults out when I would be at a restaurant with my family and being so excited to finally get to do that; and now I am.

Hello friends; Sorry for the strange blogging habits I've had the past couple of days... It's been super frantic and hectic trying to prepare for Science Olympiad and still completing school stuff. Anyway, this morning I had to actually compile some science olympiad material before my mom drove me to school at 10 am. I went to the library, printed my Media Journal before actual class. We ended up having interesting discussion and watching a video before being given our essay assignment which will be due when we return from Spring Break (I think?). APSU has their spring break next week while CMCSS has it in two weeks; meaning Middle College students don't get a spring break this year. Oh well. I ended up meeting with Brittany and Heather for lunch in Einseins and we all just sat and talked until English at 1:45. In class, we peer edited our Frankenstein novel essay's and were dismissed. Hello friends(: Today... I had homework, more homework, some YouTube videos, scholarship essays, anddddd oh yeah, more homework! But at 5:15, Heather and her sister, Sherri, picked me up to bring me to their house to watch the Superbowl. Now this is interesting for several reasons: A) Katya does not watch football (in fact this was my first time watching a full football game) B) Katya has never watched the Superbowl before. C) Katya has never attended a Superbowl party. D) The Burks are die hard Broncos fans... So basically I walk into this cult activity, am thrown a jersey the minute I pass the threshold, am fed, and expected to cheer or boo depending on the game. Needless to say, it was an experience alright... It was fun though(:

Well this morning I was SUPPOSED to wake up around 7 am butttttt didn't get out of bed until 8:45. It was pretty heart breaking. Anyway, I got ready, made breakfast, and lunch and by 10:30 Heather was at my house to go to Austin Peay.  Today I had my first Media Literacy class! Well my professor was 20 minutes late but it was already super intriguing. We only had an ice breaker today so we went around the room giving 3 media sources that have shaped our lives. Mine were Great Expectations by Charles Dickens,  the TV show Friends, and Gary Yourofsky that convinced me to become Vegan. (: Heather and I decided to go to the gym and HOLY FREAKING CRAP I THOUGHT I WAS GIONG TO DIE... But it was good. I really want to get fit and healthy and gain muscle and loose a few pounds. <33 Then we stopped by the library to get some work done until about 4:30. Going to her house, she gave me TONS of clothes (she literally hoards clothes and has a million things) so that was pretty aw...

Today was supposed to be productive... Needless to say, I spent 99% of my time on the internet (primarily YouTube) and outside in the snow... This morning I woke up around 10:30 and made breakfast with my mom<3 Fruits and fruits and more fruits! Afterwards, I went outside and took some photos. I looked very Russian according to Alexander; makes sense, I am trying to fulfill my Russian potential after all ;P So yes, that's about it! Sorry for the short post, but really I spent all my time on social media.
