Waking up at 9:30 would have been nice if I hadn't been woken up at least six times throughout the night. Regardless, I got ready and Heather picked me up at 10:20ish. We had some errands to run but first stopped by Starbucks. Where we actually ended up just sitting until noon, talking about a lot. It was nice but we probably should've ran our errands. Thus, we went to her house to eat lunch with her mom which was nice. (: At about 2, we went back to the mall strip area for Heather to get some clothes from PacSun and a perfume from Victoria's Secret before stopping by Walmart for me to get some things as well. She dropped me off at home around 5, so I decided to take a shower and put some clothes away before eating dinner with my family. For dessert, mom had made Vasilopita Cake which is traditionally made for the New Year. Hello friendly interweb peoples! This morning, rather than waking up at my usual 7:30 am, I slept in until 9:30. Which was bliss<3. I decided to lay in bed and watch a few YouTube videos before coming downstairs to eat breakfast. Deciding to read Far Far Away by Tom McNeal for about an hour, I ended up getting distracted by social media (i.e. Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, and Blogging). I also managed to organize my APSU email. Mom got home by 1:00 and we ate lunch together, chit-chatting. Afterwards, I started some laundry (I haven't done laundry for over a month, so basically, I had about 10 loads... Seriously). Continuing reading Far Far Away, that's pretty much how I spent the remainder of my evening as well as munching on some snacks and drinking coffee. Goodreads is one of the most important apps on my phone. I found the app about a year and a half ago by accident when I was googling some book title that I don't even remember anymore. I found the website which obviously lead me to the app that I became infatuated with because an app dedicated to just books where I can scan titles I'm reading, set a goal for myself, and create shelves enticed my mind. At first, I rated the books I read according to how much I liked each book. Some may respond like "Duh, that's the whole point of the rating system of stars 1-5." Then I found myself not rating the books I read out of sheer laziness but also a bit of confusion. How could I possibly be worthy enough to rate a book, who am I to say a piece of literature is "bad" or "great"? VIVE LE QUATORZE JUILLET!  SIDENOTE: In France, there's no such thing as Bastille day it's just the 14th of July. For those who don't know the 14th of July is France's Independence day, similar to our 4th of July. However, for some odd reason, American's coined the term "Bastille Day" when really the French don't celebrate Bastille, they celebrate the Independence. Oh well, just a cultural difference.  Anyway, today I was suppose to volunteer at the public library but then I found out (once being dropped off by my mom) that it was only for those 18+... which obviously, I am not.  Regardless, I stayed at the library and read as well as got on the computer for a bit.
