Petite La Fleur

Hello sweet friends. This morning I woke up at 6 am, made my lunch and breakfast, and Heather picked me up around 7:20. Stopping by her house to grab some clothes, we then went to the gym for a workout which definitely exhausted me. Directly afterwards, we stopped by Marks quickly and then went to the UC to eat some lunch. Meeting in the library with Brittany, we all sat and talked until 1:45, English. In class we watched a 1994 movie, Frankenstein  and then in Economics we took simple notes. Since we got out a little early, Heather dropped me off at home and I went to my room, watching some YouTube videos before taking a quick nap because I was just so exhausted. Regardless, I ended up waking up around 7, ate dinner with my mom and we watched some recorded episodes of Downton Abbey :)

This morning it felt very refreshing to sleep in until 7:30; that's the most in days, especially after Science Olympiad at 4 am. Anyway, I woke up, made some coffee and prepared some breakfast prior to organizing my life a bit. I got together what my upcoming assignments would be and spent a little time on social media, which was nice. Next, I listened to Freakonomics   Radio podcasts for my Economics extra credit assignment; which was really cool! In fact, I posted my analysis of one earlier today; the next is coming soon!  The rest of my day I spent reading "Eating Animals" by Jonathan Safran Foer and then "Veganomics" by Nick Cooney. (: Afterwards, we ate dinner all together (spaghetti) and now Mom and I are finishing our dvd box set of Downton Abbey  season 5 so we may begin watching season 6 on our DVR :)

It was a fairly easy breezy day. I didn't even get out of bed until 11:30 and when I came downstairs my brother and dad had just gotten home with pizza. So I ate a few slices and watched the news with my Dad and then read a book until 1:30 when we all left to go to the library. I basically spent the rest of my day at the library finishing "The Real Life of Downton Abbey" and beginning "The Golem and The Jinni". The entire day it's been rainy and gloomy so it was a perfect day to stay cooped up in the library and read. My mom came to pick us up at 6:15 and then we just came home, ate dinner, and watched three episodes of "The Whispers". See? Not a very spectacular day but oh well.

May 10, 2015 First I would like to wish that all the mothers out there had a wonderful, happy mothers day. Second, I would like to wish my own mother a very special mothers day. Since I can remember, my mom was the one always there for me. Since my dad was often deployed, it was my mother who would be there to check my fever, to make me breakfast, to pack my lunch, to give me hugs, and to make me smile. She was always there to scold me when I needed scolding, hold me when I needed holding, and help me when I needed helping. She's always done a great job of being my mother while being my best friend at the same time. I'm so thankful to have a strong relationship with my mother and that we talk about practically anything. Today, my brother and I went to the church that my mom works at for a mother's day celebration that included strawberries and ice cream. Thursday: February 19, 2015 I woke up this morning at about 8 A.M. and first thing I did was open up my laptop to check my social media accounts and watch a few YouTube videos with Leo in my lap. Then, I decided that I actually wanted to put forth some effort into my appearance so I got dressed in a green pull-over, olive scarf, light blue jeans, with white and blue stripped fuzzy socks (everyone must own a pair of fuzzy socks in the winter months!!). Then I went my brother's and my bathroom (we're the only ones on the second floor, my parent's room is on the first) and began taking out my makeup supplies which are on the left side of the sink, my side. Since my thirteen year old brother and I share a bathroom, we have a side of everything, the sink, bathtub/shower, drawers, and the shelf above the toilet. Monday: February 16, 2015 God Bless the President's of this country giving us a day off from school.  Ha. Just kidding. (Sort Of).... Well anyway, if any of you are familiar with the state of Tennessee, you'll know that we don't get much snow and if we get so much as a thin layer over the grass, school is immediately canceled. With that, we had a few inches-worth of snow today and I decided to go out and take some pictures! :) I didn't do much of anything else besides that and watch Downton Abbey (which is absoluetly fabulous!!)
