Petite La Fleur

Well my weekend thus far has been filled with To-Do lists and errands. This morning I woke up at 8:15, did the dishes, made some coffee, and prepared myself breakfast. Trying to complete a couple of things off my to-do list while my mom was out at choir practice, I wrote my chosen career field Senior Seminar paper, mailed a scholarship, packaged my friend's gift, reorganized my binders, and tidied up my little nook area. At 12:15, I got dressed and made my mom and I some lunch before we headed out on our errands. My family recently got a YMCA membership so first we went and got our pictures taken for the system and got free t-shirts. Next was a stop to an ATM, then gas, and finally Fort Campbell Commissary to do grocery shopping. We managed to buy lots of Vegetarian products, fruits, and vegetables for me so that was wonderful!<3 We got home around 6, putting everything away and Mom practiced before we prepared dinner. This morning my mom and I went to Austin Peay around 11 since she had a lesson at 11:30. I went to the Marks, returned my college textbooks,  and ran some errands before going to the UC to wait for my mom to go to Senior Seminar. Today we had a financial aid guest speaker, so parents were invited. So we sat in the room for over an hour, listening to a lady reiterate a lot of the information we've been told before but that's okay. Then I went to the library with Heather and Brittany. For both my classes, we were meeting in the library but it was pretty much independent study for English and then Government we just had to turn in our letter to a local official and we were dismissed. David picked up Heather and I from Austin Peay and brought me home (which was nice) and I spent the rest of my afternoon watching Gossip Girl. It's pretty addicting.

Hey friends!! I DYED MY HAIR GREEN. WOOOO SURPRISE! I'll get to that later, but first ...... This morning I had a doctor's appointment on post at 8 am so I had to wake up at 6 in order to leave by 7:15. The appointment went well though and then I went grocery shopping with my mom at the Commissary and we grabbed a few things, mainly stuff for me, you know, fruit, veggies, and snack since I'm basically full vegetarian now. We swung by the house to put everything away and eat a quick lunch before going onpost. I had Senior Seminar at 12:20 where we had three guest speakers: UT Martin, some bank, and a lady for the honors program at Austin Peay. In English we were put into discussion groups for chapters 6-10, given projects to do (Brittany, Gabby, Emilia and I are doing Astrology) and then homework is to read chapters 11-12. Helllllllllooooo guyssss! :) This morning, my mom dropped me off at Austin Peay around 9:45 so I could work on the Government project with Heather. I ate lunch around 11:30 before going to my Senior Seminar class. We just presented our projects before being dismissed and then I went to the UC with Emilia and Gabby to hang out with Heather before going to English. In English, we had a quiz over chapters 1-5 and then when we finished we were dismissed. But I finished last and 2 minutes after class. So yeah. Then in Government, we presented our group projects and at 4:15, Heather, Emilia and I left class so we could go volunteer at Glenellen on time. Heather drove me there and we were a few minutes late but Emilia was almost 15 because of the crazy traffic. Heather and I were at some lame station called Plinko so we pretty much just talked the whole time so that was cool. On our way home, we stopped by the shell gas station to get Coca Cola Slushies, which were amazing! Heather ...

Hey guys, this morning was a bit rough because I had to wake up at 5:30. Dreadful, right? But it was okay because I got to Job Shadow at one of Clarksville's local radio stations, Q108 with Ryan and Gretchen. And let me just tell you, it was so amazing. I was only there from 7-9 am but the all of it was so much fun. I sat in with them while they were on the air, asked them questions, and even got to record a little bit that went on the air. It was awesome! :) I was also given contact information for Clarksville Now, which I might try to job shadow as well. After my mom picked me up, we came home and I started to do a bit of organizing with my planner and schedule and the sorts. Around noon, I ate leftovers for lunch and watched a criminal minds with my parents before everybody left the house (for work, errands, or hang-out plans). I stayed home, read a little bit of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea  by Jules Verne, drank some coffee and lit some pumpkin/apple-scented candles. It...

Hey guys! This morning I had a voice lesson at 10:30 with Cheryl Sanders sitting in!! So that was awesome. Then I had Senior Seminar where we were given a project and in both English and Government I had tests. After class, I hung out with Emilia before going to volunteer at the Mrs.Tennessee Pageant from 5:30-7:00.

Hey guys! This morning was a pretty chill morning since I didn't have to be at Austin Peay until 11:30 for a Key Club meeting that only lasted like 15 minutes. Then I had Senior Seminar where we registered for the College Fair and then were given a homework assignment. For English, we started studying Old English and read a few Old English and Middle English pieces which was very interesting. In Government, we had two powerpoint slides for notes. After class, Emilia, Channel and I went to Einstein's to hang out since we don't really get to anymore. So that was nice :) While walking with Emilia back to her car, we some 3 of the Austin Peay cats running around and ahhhh they were so cute!! <3 Anyway, at 6:00 my mom was done with lessons so we went home. My dad had some guests over so I spent most of the night in my room, but 3 of my amazing books came in and my mom had gotten me some Greek food while she was on post so that's what I ate for dinner. :)

Man oh man it's been a hectic weekend already. So yesterday, I woke up at 9:00 with my mom and ate breakfast. Mark, my Dad's old friend, is going to be staying with us for a bit and he arrived last night but I was already in bed asleep when he got to our house. I'm still trying to get over this really bad cold so I had to cancel on working out with Illy this morning since I could barely breathe out my nose. Anyway, this morning Alexander had a tuba and trombone lesson so I went with him and my mom, intending to stop by the farmer's market for some vegetables. Well, unfortunately, the stand I usually get them from was all out except for Squash and eggplant. So it was sort of a bust. After we picked up Alexander, we went to the commissary on post for some grocery shopping.
