Oh man. I woke up this morning with my butt and legs so sore it hurt to get out of bed. Somehow, I managed and changed into gym clothes because Heather and I were going back at it this morning after bring Daniel to school. Except this morning would be arms. Thankfully, we only spent from 7:30-9:00 in the gym working on arms and abs because afterwards I was merely exhausted. After showering and getting ready, we went to the Marks to both complete some school errands before going to Einstein's and getting some breakfast/lunch. I bought a smoothie and a Hummus Veggie bagel as extra even though I had lunch because I was starving. David also stopped by to hang out with us but at 1:45, I left for class. In English we started watching Act I of Hamlet and I decided it'd be best to take notes since it'd be hard to remember certain plot points. In Economics, again, we took notes just as Wednesday and we were given a project that'll be due January 20th. After Econ, Heather a...

This morning I woke up at 7 AM and finished my book "A Shortcut in Time" by Charles Dickinson. Then I decided to go for a run at 8, which was definitely difficult. I need to get back in shape - but don't worry, I'm working on it. When I got back home, I had to take a shower and afterwards, I ate a bagel, toast and an apple for breakfast. :) Since I was on a roll with my productivity, I did the dishes and my laundry before practicing my cello. Yep, this all happened before noon. I was proud. Then I ate lunch - two sandwiches on wheat bread with cream cheese, spinach, and ham.  My dads friend decided to come by and make my parents a meal for their anniversary so mom and I ran by Walmart to get the ingredients and the library for me to return some books.  When we got back, they got to cooking while I sat upstairs reading "A ClockworkOeange" by Anthony Burgess and listened to Moztart on vinyl. I managed to finish it before dinner so that was cool. The ...

13 is my favorite number. I don't know why but I do know it's sort of cliche. There are three types of people when dealing with the number 13: 1st type: It's their favorite number or "lucky" number. 2nd type: They hate the number because it brings "bad luck". 3rd type: They don't give a care in the world about numbers.  I just love the number 3 and odd numbers but I don't like 5. I like 1, 3, 7, and 9. I'm not sure what it is about 5, it just seems more even to me. Maybe because we count in 5's, it caused my rebellious soul to hate the number.  I have no real reason for any of these thoughts, it's just part of me like my leg is. Well not exactly because it's not physically attached to me. I guess it's more similar to wishes, dreams, or fears?  Maybe. Okay the random number rant is over and I'll start talking about my days now... Well to begin, I got a Netflix account. And it...

It was a fairly easy breezy day. I didn't even get out of bed until 11:30 and when I came downstairs my brother and dad had just gotten home with pizza. So I ate a few slices and watched the news with my Dad and then read a book until 1:30 when we all left to go to the library. I basically spent the rest of my day at the library finishing "The Real Life of Downton Abbey" and beginning "The Golem and The Jinni". The entire day it's been rainy and gloomy so it was a perfect day to stay cooped up in the library and read. My mom came to pick us up at 6:15 and then we just came home, ate dinner, and watched three episodes of "The Whispers". See? Not a very spectacular day but oh well.

Rivers & Spires

April 17-18, 2015 Hey guys! So if you're familiar with the town of Clarksville, then you'll know of the infamous Rivers & Spires. This festival includes stages with booming music at every corner, company booths, and very over priced fair food that everyone loves and hates at the same time. I was there this Friday and Saturday to volunteer since Middle College requires each student to have 18 community hours per semester. On Friday I helped with the Watauga booth with Cindy (the art director of the camp) and Andrea (last year's and this year's RA). Then on Saturday I helped with the AFS booth (the organization for the foreign exchange students) for about two hours and moved over to the Watauga booth for about six hours where we hand-made printed patches and gave them out. When Andrea, Sofie and Cindy left I went back over to the AFS booth and waited until my mom came back. The very loud music gave me a slight headache and the heat didn't help either, but regar...

March Favourites

Let's hop right in, shall we? 1. Green Converse At least twice if not three times a week, I've been wearing my green converse and although they're not new I've had a recent obsession with them. 2. Treating Myself So the past two weekends I was working and during my lunch break, I decided to treat myself to two new black sweaters from Forever 21 (a total of $23) and a pair of black sneakers ($8) from H&M. 3. Raspberries Absolutely love, love, love raspberries! They're probably my favourite fruit ever. I've been eating a lot of fruit this month and in all of my fruit bowls, Raspberries are a must! 4. Einstein's White Chocolate Mocha's Einstein's is a coffee shop on the APSU campus in Clarksville. Although their coffee is about the same price as Starbucks with smaller cups, their White Chocolate Mocha's are way better! 5. Silke's If you read my blog regularly then you'll know I've already been to S...
