Friday: February 27, 2015 Thursday: I didn't blog about my day yesterday since I was kind of sleepy after my  40 Books Worth Reading  post.  But I woke up at about 8 AM to find out that my Dad had been in a really bad car accident last night when coming home from work so some co-workers brought him home then my mom took him to the ER. By the time I woke up, my mom was going to bed.  So I sat downstairs next to the fire place and re-edited my blog. Tell me what you think in the comments below! Anyway, then around 11:15, after breakfast and two cups of coffee my mom and I drove to my brother's school to drop off his house key, then to the library to renew some books of mine, and lastly to the university for my first class, History. Regular class, regular confusing lecture. Actually, I have gotten more accustomed to my History professor, but I still miss my previous one. Unfortunately, next week I might miss Tuesday's class since I have to take the ACT and ...

Geography Lessons During Dinner

Tuesday: February 24, 2015 Sorry I didn't manage to actually write this yesterday, it's just that by the time I remembered it I was crawling into bed.  Anyway, I woke up initially at 8 yesterday morning, came down stairs, opened the fridge and two seconds after my mom said "good morning", I uttered "I'm going back to bed" and promptly did so. I managed to actually motivate myself to get up around 10:30, changing into a pastel blue sweater (made by my great-grandmother), black pants, and black boots. I've gotten into the habit of doing my makeup now so it's just part of my morning routine.  Then my mom and I drove to the university for my one and only class of the day, American History. Class went well, we're just now getting into the West after the Civil War. Although I much rather preferred my previous teacher last semester, my current one is alright too. But after class I didn't have anything else to do so my mom drove me home....

Thursday: February 5, 2015 Have you ever had those mornings that you woke up determined to get things done and you sort of begin but then you're really tired? Yeah that was my morning. Last night, after an amazing phone call with one of my best friends, I was too awake to sleep so I ended up finally drifting off at approximately 2:30, but I set my alarm for 7 A.M. regardless. Regretting that decision the minute it started buzzing in the annoying way alarms do, I was still determined to have a productive morning. I get up and start getting ready, putting on dark faded jeans, a red plain t-shirt and a stripped black, dark grey and light grey cardigan. Putting on light amounts of eye makeup and red lipstick, I pull my hair back into a ponytail since it decided it was not going to cooperate with me this morning and left my bedroom.       First, I head to my cello and drag it up the stairs to our bonus room where I set up the chair, music stand, and end pin strap. Aft...

D-String, Doughnut Sweater, Demi Plié

Tuesday: February 3, 2015 I began my morning at a solid 8 A.M. by practicing my cello for a little over an hour, hoping that tonight I will be able to come back to complete another hour or more. Currently, I'm halfway through the Cello Essential Elements Book I and just started Suzuki Book 1,exercise 2: French Folk Song. I mainly worked on the highest 2 strings the A and D string in first position and most of the "pieces", if one would like to honor a snip-bit of "Frere Jacques" as a piece, are pretty much on the D-string, hence that portion of my title. After packing up my cello into its case, I head downstairs to grab breakfast which included Red Berry Cereal and a glass of water while reading the 5th TOUCH novel, taking my time to enjoy my morning routine. I, then, rush back up to my room where I change into dark blue jeans, old faded converse, and a doughnut sweater with a vibrant turquoise colored shirt underneath. Promptly deciding that I did not wa...

Monday: February 2,2015      I told myself that I would write every single day, but I kind of already broke that promise. Primarily because I didn't exactly have the most eventful weekend since I basically just laid around my house with my foot elevated (doctor's orders) and read books (Transcendence sequel and I'm halfway through the TOUCH novels if any of you are interested, they are both pretty good and easy reads). I read a lot, in fact, I make all my plans throughout the week so then I'm guaranteed a weekend full of reading. Last year I read on hundred books and this year my goals is at two hundred. I'm currently on my 37th book of the year.      Regardless, today has been pretty average. I woke up at 7 A.M., two hours before I had to leave, to make sure I had time to finish my ACT Prep answer sheet, study for my Math test today, take some notes for Chemistry and get in some extra practice time before my lesson at noon.     ...
