New Year's Day
Waking up at 9:30 would have been nice if I hadn't been woken up at least six times throughout the night. Regardless, I got ready and Heather picked me up at 10:20ish. We had some errands to run but first stopped by Starbucks. Where we actually ended up just sitting until noon, talking about a lot. It was nice but we probably should've ran our errands. Thus, we went to her house to eat lunch with her mom which was nice. (: At about 2, we went back to the mall strip area for Heather to get some clothes from PacSun and a perfume from Victoria's Secret before stopping by Walmart for me to get some things as well. She dropped me off at home around 5, so I decided to take a shower and put some clothes away before eating dinner with my family. For dessert, mom had made Vasilopita Cake which is traditionally made for the New Year. Merry Christmas Eve Eve!
If you don't understand the reference in the title, shame on you for never watching an episode of Friends! Anyway, this morning mom and I woke up around 8 am, ate some breakfast together and watched two episodes of our TV show. Around 10, we met with my Dad at the mall to do some shopping for my mom (clothes and shoes, which is fabulous since we're pretty much the same size and can wear each other's clothes)! We were done with shopping by noon so we decided to go eat lunch at Panera bread, where I ordered a Mediterranean Veggie and Tomato Basil Bisque with an Iced Green Tea. :) Stopping a few more places, we got back home around 2. When we got back I started back up reading Rapture Practice by Aaron Hartzler, but I ended up dozing off for about 45 minutes. When I woke up, I helped my mom wrap some presents before leaving for the Lutheran Church last Advent service. There was a meal (macaroni and hotdogs, obviously I only ate macaroni). ...
