Petite La Fleur

Well nothing today went as planned, whatsoever. First, I woke up thirty minutes after I was supposed to, didn't get any laundry done as I had planned, or prepare my gym bag.  Thankfully, Heather and I decided not to work out this morning so we just went with it. I did manage to make my breakfast and lunch for the day and then Heather picked me up around 8:30. Getting to APSU, we realized the library was freaking closed. So we moved our supposed to happen, group meeting to the UC, but then Emilia couldn't come so it made no sense to have Channel come since we couldn't get anything done anyway. So then we decided to leave APSU and go to Subway for Heather to get food and then go to the public library. Well we're freaking idiots because it's a national holiday so of course the library is closed! Our plan C or D or whatever it was at this point was to go to Starbucks to use the wifi there and I could write out project paper there. Well we ended up sitting in the car...

So today I woke up at decided to actually put some effort into my appearnce so I took a shower, put on a dress, and put my hair up. :) I used my huge coffee mug for the first time which is like the size of my face, so that's awesome! I had English class at 1:45 where we discussed chapers 12-17 of Where Am I Wearing  by Kelsey Timmerman and our homework assignment was chapters 18-21. My next class was Government at 3:10 where we we took notes on the Amendments. Our homework was to draw a visual representation of the amendment we were assinged and write each amendment in 140 characters or less on twitter. Then I hung out with Ben for a bit in the quad before going home at 5. :)

I had a doctor's appointment at 8 AM so I had to wake up bright and early by 6:30. It's ironic that I don't have any classes until the afternoon this week, but I still have had to wake up early for other things. Anyway, after my appointment, my mom and I drove to Silke's to meet with Martina since she's going off to Louisville today for college. We got there a bit early so we ordered our coffee (German for her, Cafe Mocha for me) and two slices of Tiramisu. <3 Once Martina arrived, she ordered some German coffee as well and we all just chit-chated for a little over an hour. By 11:15 she had to leave since they were leaving today for her to go move-in. We said our last goodbyes, exchanged hugs, and left. Mom and I stopped by the house to eat lunch and leave around 1 since I had English at 1:45. We were in a different location though ( I have no clue why) but the room was small and we didn't have much room, so we had a class discussion of the few chapters ...

My day started off bright at 9 AM :) Mom came home from work around 1:30 and we drank coffee while chit chatting (you know the usual mother-daughter occurrence).  At 3 her and I went to an AFS meeting since she's a liaison and I'm wanting to be an avid volunteer<33 So excited to be more involved with AFS! :) Then my family and I went out to eat dinner together. That's pretty much the extent of my day :) 

I must admit, I haven't done much these past couple of days. Sunday : I went to Caitlyn's birthday dinner at Cheddars at 6. Her friends Alex, Ariah, Jurinda, Raven, Jazmin, and Henna were there. The 8 of us were seated at a booth, we ordered our food, and I realized just how socially awkward I was. Don't get me wrong, they were nice and funny, I just didn't really know what to say. Most of what they were talking about were people I didn't know, parties I'd never been to, and things I've never done. Sooo. Yea. It was still nice though. I gave Caitlyn her present, the waiter flirted with me, and the food tasted good. I'd count that as a good evening. Monday : I had a doctors appointment at 2 on Fort Campbell then we stopped by the Commisarry. The End. Oh and we ate dinner while watching The Bachelorette. Tuesday : I had an 8:30 dentist appointment and spent the rest of my day reading. Wednesday : I woke up at 8:30,...

I've come to realize that although I'm not a morning person, I do like waking up around 7ish and starting my day around 8. Obviously that was the case this morning sine my mom and I wanted to stop by the Farmer's Market downtown before she had to go to work at 10. I decided that since I would spending some time outside I'd wear a dress, one of the ones my mom gave me actually. (: Then I did the dishes because I didn't feel like doing them last night. I ate toast with nutella for breakfast and watched an episode of "The Bold and The Beautiful" (a literal soap opera) with my mom since it's sort of our morning ritual. Anyway, we went to the market and it was just GREAT <3! The first thing we did was get a cute basket that you can fill up with as much vegetables as you want and the first time you use it, it's $10 and if you bring back the basket, you can keep filling it up for $9. It's a really great deal since it's fresh vegeta...

Today is my best friend, Caitlyn, 's 17th Birthday!! <3 I didn't get to really hang out with her today, but I did make her a poster with yellow balloons (her favorite color) and candy tapped on it (Twizzlers, Air Heads, and Sour Patch Kids). I had her come over when she got home so I could give it to her and we talked just for a little bit. She's having a birthday dinner on Sunday so that's when I'll give her her real present! Another cool thing about today is that my mom found 7 dresses in her closet that she can't wear anymore and gave them to me! They're all so pretty and vintage (:

May 8, 2015 I went into last nights prom with no expectations, no real plans in mind. I decided on Friday I'd go to prom with my friend, Emilia and asked my friend Hanna if I could borrow her prom dress rather than trying to find one last minute. Monday, I bought my ticketwhich was $25. School was actually canceled on Friday due to prom although I'm unsure if it's because they realized that since Middle College only consists of juniors and seniors and it was a junior-senior prom, that almost no one would show up or since there are only 4 teachers and 3 administrators to be chaperones they just needed the extra time to set everything up? Either way, I didn't complain. Around 4:30, I began getting ready. Starting with my makeup, I applied foundation, concealer, finishing powder, bronzer and blush.
