VIVE LE QUATORZE JUILLET! SIDENOTE: In France, there's no such thing as Bastille day it's just the 14th of July. For those who don't know the 14th of July is France's Independence day, similar to our 4th of July. However, for some odd reason, American's coined the term "Bastille Day" when really the French don't celebrate Bastille, they celebrate the Independence. Oh well, just a cultural difference. Anyway, today I was suppose to volunteer at the public library but then I found out (once being dropped off by my mom) that it was only for those 18+... which obviously, I am not. Regardless, I stayed at the library and read as well as got on the computer for a bit. My reading challenge on Goodreads is set to 200 books and so far I'm at 100, which is right on schedule :) Next, my mom picked me up from the library and we went to a fourteenth of july party from 4-6.
