Petite La Fleur

Average beginning to the day with breakfast and "morning meeting" where we all just sit and stare at our phones until it's time to go to class, haha, but it's perfect<3. Today, my day began with a cello lesson with Dr.Lara. Which was both fabulous and distressing. She's just a very intense professor and sometimes it's very intimidating for me, but it went relatively well. At the same time, Piper had a piano lesson with Dr.Wood and then Dr.Lara offered to drive us both back to the dance building for class. After lunch I had a voice lesson with Dr. Bailey which was FREAKING AWESOME BECAUSE I LOVE HIM! <3 Okay, we chose the song for the final exhibition and started plunking through it which was exciting. Then I had rehearsal with Piper and Laquimah for an hour before Interdisciplinary where we researched images of things that inspired us for McLean to print them off. The day began with an Einstein's coffee run with Kyle, Illy, Piper, Avery, Grace, and Rei.  Also, after breakfast we had a morning meeting where we played a game of mafia.  My morning classes included morning ballet and jazz with Kim (who is a phenomenal teacher) which was really rough. Her bar exercises and overall teaching skills are pretty hard core, like Piper and I were sweating while doing bar work. After lunch we had rehearsal with Laquimah for two hours (which was so intense and frankly exhausting). Next was Interdisciplinary where we did "Hour of Tower", basically having nothing really to do with our previous project but the idea was that we were put into teams (I was with Grace, my roommate) and we had to build the strongest structure/tower out of paper and tape in an hour. It was relatively fun. Basically we tried our best haha.  For dinner we ate in the Terrace of course, but since there are only 11 campers it's nice that we can all sit at...
