Petite La Fleur

This morning I decided to lounge around and watch netflix. Then my mom called around noon asking if my brother and I wanted to join my dad, her, and some of her friends for lunch at Ruby Tuesday and we did. It was fun but we ended up staying long because of all the chit-chat and decided to all come back to our house. They stayed until about 7:00 and after they left, my mom made dinner and my family and I watched The Walking Dead.

Not much happened today.  I woke up at 8:30, began reading "Yaqui Delgado Wants To Kick Your Ass" by Meg Medina. Ate breakfast and watched an episode of Gilmore Girls. Went back to reading. Did the dishes. Warmed up left over pizza. Read again. Went to APSU with my mom. Hung out in the library, reading the rest of Meg Medina's book (which I rated a 4/5 star) and began "The Naturals" by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, which I like a lot because it sort of reminds of me a supernatural Criminal Minds. Next stop was the Public Library for mom to get some work done.  Outfit of the day.  Austin Peay State University Library.

I must admit, I haven't done much these past couple of days. Sunday : I went to Caitlyn's birthday dinner at Cheddars at 6. Her friends Alex, Ariah, Jurinda, Raven, Jazmin, and Henna were there. The 8 of us were seated at a booth, we ordered our food, and I realized just how socially awkward I was. Don't get me wrong, they were nice and funny, I just didn't really know what to say. Most of what they were talking about were people I didn't know, parties I'd never been to, and things I've never done. Sooo. Yea. It was still nice though. I gave Caitlyn her present, the waiter flirted with me, and the food tasted good. I'd count that as a good evening. Monday : I had a doctors appointment at 2 on Fort Campbell then we stopped by the Commisarry. The End. Oh and we ate dinner while watching The Bachelorette. My plans actually went through today! This past week I made 5 separate plans with 5 different people/groups of people and all of them got canceled, moved or postponed. It was sort of upsetting but it gave me more time with my books and watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix, so I guess that's the positive in all this. Anyway, today I hung out with my best friend Caitlyn at Miss Lucille's which was nice because I don't get to see her often. I've known her since 8th grade and we both went to Rossview until I transferred to Middle College which made it harder to hang out. We actually met riding the bus in 8th grade and sat with each other every year. By Junior year though, Caitlyn got her license and since we live in the same neighborhood she drove me. So it was nice to catch up with her this afternoon. Then my mom and I went to Nashville around 2. 13 is my favorite number. I don't know why but I do know it's sort of cliche. There are three types of people when dealing with the number 13: 1st type: It's their favorite number or "lucky" number. 2nd type: They hate the number because it brings "bad luck". 3rd type: They don't give a care in the world about numbers.  I just love the number 3 and odd numbers but I don't like 5. I like 1, 3, 7, and 9. I'm not sure what it is about 5, it just seems more even to me. Maybe because we count in 5's, it caused my rebellious soul to hate the number.  I have no real reason for any of these thoughts, it's just part of me like my leg is.
