Petite La Fleur

Well last night I was throwing up ALL THROUGHOUT the night. So I only got maybe a solid two hours of sleep and had to wake up at 4:30... At 5:30, my mom and I left the house to go to Austin Peay to meet with Science Olympiad to go to Pope John Paul II High School for our Invitational Mock Competition. I got sick several times along the journey but we finally got there at 7:45 and our first competition was at 8. First for me was Invasive Species with Kimberly from 8:00-8:50. The test was pretty hard since we didn't have a list of the species and were expected to name 15 of them off a screen within seconds.Directly afterwards was Anatomy with Gabby from 9:00-9:50 which I know we did well at because she is practically a walking, talking Anatomy text book. Thankfully then I had a little lunch break to prepare for Green Generation which was at 11:00-11:50. Hey friends!! I DYED MY HAIR GREEN. WOOOO SURPRISE! I'll get to that later, but first ...... This morning I had a doctor's appointment on post at 8 am so I had to wake up at 6 in order to leave by 7:15. The appointment went well though and then I went grocery shopping with my mom at the Commissary and we grabbed a few things, mainly stuff for me, you know, fruit, veggies, and snack since I'm basically full vegetarian now. We swung by the house to put everything away and eat a quick lunch before going onpost. I had Senior Seminar at 12:20 where we had three guest speakers: UT Martin, some bank, and a lady for the honors program at Austin Peay. In English we were put into discussion groups for chapters 6-10, given projects to do (Brittany, Gabby, Emilia and I are doing Astrology) and then homework is to read chapters 11-12. Wooo. Back. To. School. :) This morning, since it was chilly, I decided to wear jeans, a turtle neck, and my green converse. I made myself breakfast while watching some YouTube videos and scrolling through Pinterest before having my French lesson with my mom. It went well, but I realized I really need to practice more so I've made myself a more rigid study schedule, so I can actually get everything I need to get done, done. Anyway, then I ate lunch with my parents before going to Austin Peay around noon. I dropped some stuff off in my locker and then sat outside of the Clement building with Taylor, Emily, Cara, and Emilia before English. In class we started reading Grendel  by John Gardner, which is so freaking good! I loved Beowulf and I loved the first chapter of Grendel. Actually, one my new favorite quotes will have to be...
