Challenge: Holiday Book Haul Photo

Waking up at 9:30 would have been nice if I hadn't been woken up at least six times throughout the night. Regardless, I got ready and Heather picked me up at 10:20ish. We had some errands to run but first stopped by Starbucks. Where we actually ended up just sitting until noon, talking about a lot. It was nice but we probably should've ran our errands. Thus, we went to her house to eat lunch with her mom which was nice. (: At about 2, we went back to the mall strip area for Heather to get some clothes from PacSun and a perfume from Victoria's Secret before stopping by Walmart for me to get some things as well. She dropped me off at home around 5, so I decided to take a shower and put some clothes away before eating dinner with my family. For dessert, mom had made Vasilopita Cake which is traditionally made for the New Year. Everyone gets a slice and each slice is dedicated for family and friends since there's a hidden piece inside indicating who will have good luc...

This morning I woke at 5 am with a strange fogginess around me. Almost suffocating. I think I'm getting sick. No, I know I'm getting sick. My throat hurts, my nose is stuffy, and my eyes are watery. After laying in bed for about 2 hours, I got up because the sun started shinning on me. I made some breakfast (really, just a bagel) and watched some youtube videos before reading. I was set on finishing The 5th Wave  by Rick Yancey, which was amazing... Usually I'm not a big fan of sci-fi dystopian novels with aliens and battle scenes, but I was a fan of this one! :) Then I read Scar Boys  by Len Vlahos, another amazing read off the Battle of the Books list. My parents went grocery shopping after we all ate lunch, around 2, so that's primarily when I read. When they got home, I helped my mom put away groceries and make dinner. Now I'm drinking some tea about to start reading Five Days in November by Clint Hill with Lisa McCubbin.

Apparently I have an internal alarm clock that forces me to wake up after 7 am but before 8 am. Basically I woke up at 7:30 this morning. Came downstairs, made breakfast and went to my laptop to read some blogs, news, etc. I also managed to edit a my blog :) Then, my mom and I watched a TV show before she left for Choir practice. I decided to finally wake up my brother around noon (like really?), and had him come downstairs to eat some breakfast. He asked if we could have a little bit of coffee, which was perfect because there was only a little bit left, and I helped him make it. It was fun :) After eating my lunch I decided to wrap some christmas presents I had in my room. Honestly, I just shove all the gifts I get people in my closet because no one ever goes in there and if they did, they'd never come out... I also put some new ornaments on the tree that are for each of us, I didn't want to put them in the stockings and risk them breaking....
