Thoughts on the novel thus far: While I have read the novel before, I find myself having new perspectives of each character; to include Elizabeth having more bark this read around, as well as Mrs. Bennet being far more embarrasing and single minded than previously. Similarly, I find Mr. Darcy to be just as charming and Mr. Bennet just as witty as before. The quick wit and humor of all the characters is just as brilliant and entertaining as ever. Chapter 17 Is this declaration that "there was truth in his looks," based on reason or feeling? I believe the declaration that Elizabeth makes about Mr. Wickham speaking of Mr. Darcy, “there was truth in his looks” is purely based on feeling primarily because Elizabeth already ahs preconcieved notions of who Mr. Darcy supposeably is. The opening night of The Taming of The Shrew on April 6, 2016 at the Roxy Theatre, was a play I will never forget. The leads playing Petruchio and Katherina, Jonathan Whitney and Margaret Eilertson, were phenomenal at portraying character transformation as well as creating depth to the characters beyond an act. However, the rest of the cast was equally brilliant in the portrayal of their roles and emphasizing Shakespeare’s wit and humor with every delivery of every line. The set remained a simple backdrop of columns to resemble the home of Baptista and his daughters, Katherina and Bianca; whereas when the travels of Katherina and Petruchio occurred, there was a fabric backdrop of various places and landmarks. Cresta McGowan, while being an English high school teacher, is also a literary review blogger and writer. Writing opinions about Young Adult novels to Classic Literature, she varies in her reading habits, hence, giving well rounded reviews. Although she has given up blogging at the moment, due to lack of time, the posts throughout the past six years have developed a well read blog. Most posts are at minimum a paragraph or two per book review, while some run much longer. The variation in genres is a refreshing and interesting aspect of McGowan’s blog, appealing to several audiences. Thus, while McGowan holds various opinions on books regarding liking or disliking them, she also gives consistent information throughout her reviews. This morning I woke up and made a nice fruit and bagel breakfast before enjoying a good cup of coffee while watching some tv shows with my mom. The day was average, I had my Media Class, English, and Economics. The biggest part of my day today was going out for dinner with Heather at Fujiyama and telling her I have finally decided which college I will be attending: American University! <3 It was great to finally tell her and it be more official. I'm sad that I won't be able to go to Knoxville and do all the things I've been planning for the past 5 months, but I know I made the best decision.

It is often associated with human nature to relate a situation to another or even find symbolism while comparing two ideas to each other; thus, the concept of finding deeper meanings within the use of nature in culture or art is more common that portrayed. For example, similar to musicians using symbolism of nature within their music to display emotion, poets and other artists have been using nature as a means of depicting the human condition since the beginnings of time. Embedding their art with connections to nature, William Wordsworth and Gerald Manley Hopkins wrote two beautiful poems heavily filled with nature references. However, while Wordsworth’s poem developed the theme of nature and its existence within his own life; Hopkins used nature as a connecting point to his greater context of religion. Well this morning, friends, Heather picked me up and we went to Austin Peay to get ready. I had some errands to run so we did that before meeting up with Brittany at the library. At 11:15, I went to my Media class where we turned in our essay's and talked about our journals (for the first time, I went up in front of the class and presented.) At 12:10, I was supposed to go to the Foy to do Upper Body Burn with Heather, but I was wearing my work clothes and wasn't up for the hassle afterwards. So in stead, I got ready for work, waited for Heather to come out of class, and then went to Starbucks to get some coffee, Soy Latte. At 2:15, my mom picked me up to bring me to work at Opry Mills.

Friends(: This morning my first thought, repeatedly was "no no no no no no no NO no NO". I was so freaking tired. But I had to get up and get ready so that was okay. First thing this morning, Heather and I did was go to the gym and we literally cycled for 65 minutes. I began listening to music and then watching a Netflix episode. After our workout, we had a few errands to run (Marks and Library) before I went to my very strange, very awkward Media class. When it was over, I went to the library to find Heather and David working on stuff so I did the same until English while I ate lunch. In class we watched Young Frankenstein  and oh man was that a treat. Ha. Then, Heather and I worked on Stats homework for literally 3 hours and only got 15 questions done... It was depressing. Brittany, Heather and I then had to rush our workout to ensure we were done by 8 so my mom could pick me up. (:

Hello fellow friends! This morning, I was supposed to have my french lesson; but instead, my mom, Darcy, and I ended up falling asleep until 8:30... So, my mom and I woke up, got ready, and went on a Starbucks date to chit chat for a little bit. (: After she dropped me off at school, I went to the library to work on some homework and scholarship essays; I was supposed to have English at 1:45 but that got canceled so all I had was Economics, where we had a test. Unfortunately, I got an intense migraine right before class so immediately after taking the test, Heather brought me home so I could sleep for a bit. When I woke up, it was dinner time so my Mom and I caught up on a few episodes of The Walking Dead .

Hello sweet friends. This morning I woke up at 6 am, made my lunch and breakfast, and Heather picked me up around 7:20. Stopping by her house to grab some clothes, we then went to the gym for a workout which definitely exhausted me. Directly afterwards, we stopped by Marks quickly and then went to the UC to eat some lunch. Meeting in the library with Brittany, we all sat and talked until 1:45, English. In class we watched a 1994 movie, Frankenstein  and then in Economics we took simple notes. Since we got out a little early, Heather dropped me off at home and I went to my room, watching some YouTube videos before taking a quick nap because I was just so exhausted. Regardless, I ended up waking up around 7, ate dinner with my mom and we watched some recorded episodes of Downton Abbey :)

Hello friends; Sorry for the strange blogging habits I've had the past couple of days... It's been super frantic and hectic trying to prepare for Science Olympiad and still completing school stuff. Anyway, this morning I had to actually compile some science olympiad material before my mom drove me to school at 10 am. I went to the library, printed my Media Journal before actual class. We ended up having interesting discussion and watching a video before being given our essay assignment which will be due when we return from Spring Break (I think?). APSU has their spring break next week while CMCSS has it in two weeks; meaning Middle College students don't get a spring break this year. Oh well. An early 19th century novel, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, famously introduces the concept of Science Fiction to literature, as well as maintains Romanticism and Gothic elements throughout the story. Shelley’s novel has inspired several other works, such as several Frankenstein movie or play renditions, to include childhood films or cartoons, such as Frankenweenie.
