Petite La Fleur

Hello friends. This morning for some strange reason I woke up at 7:15 and came downstairs to find that my mom was still home and that SNOW HAD FALL! Today marks the first snowfall for winter 2015-2016! It was pretty. My morning was spent watching YouTube videos and then organizing my life a little bit, looking into my planner and scheduling my week. Mom came home around noon so we all decided to eat lunch then. After lunch, mom and I sat down to complete the FAFSA! It was pretty stressful. It took us almost two hours just to figure out exactly how to do it. Then I did the dishes, some laundry, and took a shower. Since Heather and I have been going to Yoga this last week and plan to continue, I decided to paint my nails. (: It made me really happy because I haven't painted my nails in a while. Side note, today makers one year of Alex's going away party! :(

Wooo. Back. To. School. :) This morning, since it was chilly, I decided to wear jeans, a turtle neck, and my green converse. I made myself breakfast while watching some YouTube videos and scrolling through Pinterest before having my French lesson with my mom. It went well, but I realized I really need to practice more so I've made myself a more rigid study schedule, so I can actually get everything I need to get done, done. Anyway, then I ate lunch with my parents before going to Austin Peay around noon. I dropped some stuff off in my locker and then sat outside of the Clement building with Taylor, Emily, Cara, and Emilia before English. In class we started reading Grendel  by John Gardner, which is so freaking good! I loved Beowulf and I loved the first chapter of Grendel. Actually, one my new favorite quotes will have to be... 1. I love cats, coffee, and books. 2. Right now, I'm thinking of double majoring in Journalism and Literature with a minor in either History or Philosophy and get a separate degree for Library Science. 3. I'm a new vegetarian (Pescetarian, to be precise because I eat fish). 4. My favorite season is autumn, the cold, and rain. 5. I want to study abroad in the UK and (hopefully) end up living there.

Monday: February 2,2015      I told myself that I would write every single day, but I kind of already broke that promise. Primarily because I didn't exactly have the most eventful weekend since I basically just laid around my house with my foot elevated (doctor's orders) and read books (Transcendence sequel and I'm halfway through the TOUCH novels if any of you are interested, they are both pretty good and easy reads). I read a lot, in fact, I make all my plans throughout the week so then I'm guaranteed a weekend full of reading. Last year I read on hundred books and this year my goals is at two hundred. I'm currently on my 37th book of the year.      Regardless, today has been pretty average. I woke up at 7 A.M., two hours before I had to leave, to make sure I had time to finish my ACT Prep answer sheet, study for my Math test today, take some notes for Chemistry and get in some extra practice time before my lesson at noon.     ...
