This morning I woke at 5 am with a strange fogginess around me. Almost suffocating. I think I'm getting sick. No, I know I'm getting sick. My throat hurts, my nose is stuffy, and my eyes are watery. After laying in bed for about 2 hours, I got up because the sun started shinning on me. I made some breakfast (really, just a bagel) and watched some youtube videos before reading. I was set on finishing The 5th Wave  by Rick Yancey, which was amazing... Usually I'm not a big fan of sci-fi dystopian novels with aliens and battle scenes, but I was a fan of this one! :) Then I read Scar Boys  by Len Vlahos, another amazing read off the Battle of the Books list. My parents went grocery shopping after we all ate lunch, around 2, so that's primarily when I read. When they got home, I helped my mom put away groceries and make dinner. Now I'm drinking some tea about to start reading Five Days in November by Clint Hill with Lisa McCubbin.

Apparently I have an internal alarm clock that forces me to wake up after 7 am but before 8 am. Basically I woke up at 7:30 this morning. Came downstairs, made breakfast and went to my laptop to read some blogs, news, etc. I also managed to edit a my blog :) Then, my mom and I watched a TV show before she left for Choir practice. I decided to finally wake up my brother around noon (like really?), and had him come downstairs to eat some breakfast. He asked if we could have a little bit of coffee, which was perfect because there was only a little bit left, and I helped him make it. It was fun :) After eating my lunch I decided to wrap some christmas presents I had in my room. Honestly, I just shove all the gifts I get people in my closet because no one ever goes in there and if they did, they'd never come out... I also put some new ornaments on the tree that are for each of us, I didn't want to put them in the stockings and risk them breaking....

Hey guys! This morning I woke up around 6:00 but didn't feel well so went back to sleep and stayed in bed until 9:30. Then I ate breakfast with my mom, watched a few shows. And pretty much did nothing for the remainder of the after noon. I mean, I blogged and read other blogs and spent a lot of time on the internet. But as far as getting stuff done, I did nothing. Then, my mom drove me to Grace Community Church's Trunk-or-Treating event where I was volunteering with Heather from 5:30-8:30. We were in the dining area so we just had to clean the tables off after people finished eating. Then Heather and I ran to the shell on Rossview Rd to get slushies and we decided this was going to be "our thing" like how kids in the 90s did. So yup, that was a life event. Anyway, then she drove me home but she stayed for a bit and we ate pizza for dinner and then I helped her dye her hair back to brown. It came out really good. :) She also helped me dye my hair BUT I won...

Silke's, Hanna, & Tea.

June 3, 2015 Hello guys! How are you? My day began with pressing snooze to four alarms before finally waking up. First thing I did was come down stairs to take out my 3rd load of laundry out of the dryer and put my 4th in, (I've honestly been procrastinating in doing laundry for about a month now without having to wear an item of clothing twice...it's insane). After putting my clothes away I changed into workout shorts and an old tee shirt so I could begin cleaning my room as I promised my mom. I began by wiping all my shelves, frames and overhead lamps. Next I cleaned all three of my windows and both of my mirrors. Then my mom helped me clean my carpet and then we vacuumed.  At noon, Hanna and her mom came to my house to pick me up. I accidentally gave them the wrong address (only off by one digit) but then Hanna texted me saying did you mean "...." haha. We were going out on a lunch date at Silke's, of course. It was great fun to have a g...

April Goals

Image
I'm a pretty goal-oriented person. I enjoy making To-Do lists for my day so I know what I've gotten and need to get done. I enjoy making lists in general actually and I'm going to begin a new list on this blog, my monthly goals. 1. Keep my grades up Being a junior in high school can be pretty challenging since it's the year of Language&Composition, Chemistry, Algebra II, the ACT and tons of testing which is pretty much what takes up the majority of most people's junior year. My goal is to keep and hopefully raise my grades this month. 2. Practicing I try to practice Cello, Piano, Voice and French everyday but it's hard to when there are only 24 hours in a day. I'm going to try to keep my practice routine steady and balanced.  3. Eating healthier I'm not going to lie, I'm not exactly the healthiest eater. I enjoy my junk food, fast food, and treats. I know that everything is healthy in moderation but I'm going to try to watch my e...

Do What You Love and Love What You Do

Photo I attempted 8 blogs before sticking to this one, all of them complete failures and rather messy. I liked the idea of blogging and enjoyed reading other blogs quite frequently, I still do of course, the best way to learn is to observe from others. My previous blogs were kept secret, I never told my friends or family due to embarrassment, I thought they'd laugh at me. At the end of January I discovered my friend, Hanna's , blog. I was inspired that she has daily blogged for over 3 years and I decided that enough was enough, so I created one too. At first, I was rather nervous about starting my blog and had a lot of negative thoughts running through my mind. Will I be able to manage it? Will I tell my friends and family? What if people find it and think it's stupid? I decided to create my blogger account, set up a template for my blog and published my first post  Just A Little About Myself , which now is the basis of my  About Page . After getting my first...
