First, I must admit this is the first  immigration  story I have read, I believe the (if not one of the) first post-World War II  novels  I have read, and the first Irish character I have ever read about.  Thus, this was an overall new experience for me. So this morning Heather was supposed to pick me up from my house in the morning before bringing Daniel to school but she woke up too late, having to bring him to school, go back home to get ready, and then pick me up. But all was well. (: She came around 8:30, so we stopped by Starbucks on Wilma Rudolph where I bought a gingerbread latte and a lemon poundcake and we sat, talking until about 11. Driving over to Austin Peay, we went to the Foy (the school's gym) and had our first Yoga class! Although it was hard, it was so calming and relaxing and we both thoroughly enjoyed it!! Right after getting ready, we went to the UC to eat lunch and David joined us. I had class almost immediately after, so I had to get eat rather fast. Today I had my first English and Economics class for the semester. In English we opened with an introduction to Hamlet and in Economics we took notes on what an economist does. Waking up at 9:30 would have been nice if I hadn't been woken up at least six times throughout the night. Regardless, I got ready and Heather picked me up at 10:20ish. We had some errands to run but first stopped by Starbucks. Where we actually ended up just sitting until noon, talking about a lot. It was nice but we probably should've ran our errands. Thus, we went to her house to eat lunch with her mom which was nice. (: At about 2, we went back to the mall strip area for Heather to get some clothes from PacSun and a perfume from Victoria's Secret before stopping by Walmart for me to get some things as well. She dropped me off at home around 5, so I decided to take a shower and put some clothes away before eating dinner with my family. For dessert, mom had made Vasilopita Cake which is traditionally made for the New Year.
