Not much happened today.  I woke up at 8:30, began reading "Yaqui Delgado Wants To Kick Your Ass" by Meg Medina. Ate breakfast and watched an episode of Gilmore Girls. Went back to reading. Did the dishes. Warmed up left over pizza. Read again. Went to APSU with my mom. Hung out in the library, reading the rest of Meg Medina's book (which I rated a 4/5 star) and began "The Naturals" by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, which I like a lot because it sort of reminds of me a supernatural Criminal Minds. Next stop was the Public Library for mom to get some work done.  Outfit of the day.  Austin Peay State University Library.

1. When do you find yourself reading? Morning, afternoon, evening, whenever you get the chance or all the time? Well during summer I lean more towards all the time but during the school year when I'm busier, I read whenever I get the chance. 2. What is your best setting to read in? Anywhere, I don't care. I prefer quiet or instrumental music in the background to cover up any noises but I'm not too picky. 3. What do you do first - Read or Watch? READ! I hate watching a movie then reading the book. In fact, I will even skip watching a movie until after I've read the book. 4. What form do you prefer? Audiobook, E-book, or physical book? Physical book, always. Hands down. 5. Do you have a unique habit when you read? Not that I know of? 6. Do book series have to match? Eh, I'm not too picky. It's about the content inside not the cover outside.

1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading? I have several; I enjoy reading on the far end of our couch next to the window and a small shelf where I usually keep my coffee cup, my bed on the right corner with my pillow leaning on the wall with my knees bent and book resting on them, or my dining room table where my laptop and tablet stay plugged in. 2. Bookmark or random piece of paper? Typically, I use a bookmark because I have probably hundreds of them ( I collect ) and enjoy the memories of the either the person who gave me the bookmark or the location I got it. However, if I begin a new book and have misplaced a bookmark or something, then I'll use a piece of paper or an index card. 3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/ a certain amount of pages? I MUST HAVE A STOPPING POINT. For example, if my mom says "It's time for dinner", I'll respond with "Hold on, I'm just going to finis...

I must admit, I haven't done much these past couple of days. Sunday : I went to Caitlyn's birthday dinner at Cheddars at 6. Her friends Alex, Ariah, Jurinda, Raven, Jazmin, and Henna were there. The 8 of us were seated at a booth, we ordered our food, and I realized just how socially awkward I was. Don't get me wrong, they were nice and funny, I just didn't really know what to say. Most of what they were talking about were people I didn't know, parties I'd never been to, and things I've never done. Sooo. Yea. It was still nice though. I gave Caitlyn her present, the waiter flirted with me, and the food tasted good. I'd count that as a good evening. Monday : I had a doctors appointment at 2 on Fort Campbell then we stopped by the Commisarry. The End. Oh and we ate dinner while watching The Bachelorette. Tuesday : I had an 8:30 dentist appointment and spent the rest of my day reading. Wednesday : I woke up at 8:30,...

Missing Out? NOT.

Image
Why is there such a fear of "missing out" ? For instance, in high school, people feel obligated to go to Prom, Homecoming, Football games, Pep rallys, etc. Yes, there are people who really do want to go to these events, but there are plenty of people I know that don't really want to go but do anyway because they fear missing out... I went to Prom with one of my close friends and I loved it, but I went to the Middle College prom and we only had like maybe 60 people. It was a very intimate setting and it just felt like a big party of friends. I don't like football, but I was sort of pressured to feel as if I was missing out if I didn't go to the games. (I still only went to one game a year, the Warfield Shield game, since it was one of the biggest games). I went to my freshmen year homecoming and honestly it was dreadfully boring, so I didn't go the next years and people were like "aw you're missing out." Sophomore year, I felt I had to g...

I've come to realize that although I'm not a morning person, I do like waking up around 7ish and starting my day around 8. Obviously that was the case this morning sine my mom and I wanted to stop by the Farmer's Market downtown before she had to go to work at 10. I decided that since I would spending some time outside I'd wear a dress, one of the ones my mom gave me actually. (: Then I did the dishes because I didn't feel like doing them last night. I ate toast with nutella for breakfast and watched an episode of "The Bold and The Beautiful" (a literal soap opera) with my mom since it's sort of our morning ritual. Anyway, we went to the market and it was just GREAT <3! The first thing we did was get a cute basket that you can fill up with as much vegetables as you want and the first time you use it, it's $10 and if you bring back the basket, you can keep filling it up for $9. It's a really great deal since it's fresh vegeta...
