Missing Out? NOT.

Why is there such a fear of "missing out" ? For instance, in high school, people feel obligated to go to Prom, Homecoming, Football games, Pep rallys, etc. Yes, there are people who really do want to go to these events, but there are plenty of people I know that don't really want to go but do anyway because they fear missing out... I went to Prom with one of my close friends and I loved it, but I went to the Middle College prom and we only had like maybe 60 people. It was a very intimate setting and it just felt like a big party of friends. I don't like football, but I was sort of pressured to feel as if I was missing out if I didn't go to the games. (I still only went to one game a year, the Warfield Shield game, since it was one of the biggest games). Dimanche Gras

Sunday: February 15, 2015 Today I woke up at about 9 A.M. to get dressed and go down stairs to wake up my brother and dad. We were going to the Lutheran Church my mom works at for a special service, Dimanche Gras. The service itself was very silly and fun and afterwards we all enjoyed a very nice meal. I must admit I was rather cranky and tired with a headache, so I did act very grouchy but after some good food I was feeling much better. I then went to Walmart with my dad to pick up some makeup I had been wanting (liquid eyeliner, foundation, and brow gel). We came home and all sort of just relaxed in separate rooms. In fact, I began watching a brilliant show, Downton Abbey . For dinner, my family and I ate chicken with fries while sitting on the couch watching The Walking Dead .
