Andrew Tyson Pianist Concert

This morning Mom and I actually did attend the PiYo class at the YMCA and I absolutely hated it. But the gym had complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby so the sucky class was made up for with some nice Green Tea(: At 10, my mom dropped me off at the Trahern building of Austin Peay for my first Voice lesson of the semester with Dr.Bailey. Ironically, our lesson times are exactly the same as last semester's. We decided to work on "My Stupid Mouth" first and we picked out a few more songs to begin working with(:  Directly after, like 15 minutes, I had my Media Class where we watched three music-type videos that all were the same in some way. We watched Def Leopard with Taylor Swift, Aerosmith with RUN-DMC, and Queen with David Bowie. Basically they were all the same because they were all music juxtapositions within themselves. It was neat. Then I sprinted, and I mean sprinted, to the Foy (all the way across campus) within three minutes and changed within two to attend...

Hey guys!! :) Today was a really awesome day. :) I had my Algebra class this morning and I found out I got an 86 on the last test which is a lot better than I did on the one before it. During my break between classes, I hung out with Emilia, Heather, Brittany, Gabby, and Ben. So that was cool. :) In Psychology we finished chapter 5, began chapter 6, and were told we'll have a test next Thursday. I met up with Heather and Brittany to walk with them to Physics and we had a projectile motion lab which was hard as heck and super complicated but Brittany and I figured it out eventually. Heather dropped me off at home so I could tutor my next door neighbor and then she came to pick me back up around 5:30 for the MKTO homecoming concert. It was sooooo much fun. Brittany, Nick (her boyfriend), Ali, Heather, and I had a really good time. It wasn't like a super hype concert but it was free and it was nice to just hang out with friends. (:

Missing Out? NOT.

Why is there such a fear of "missing out" ? For instance, in high school, people feel obligated to go to Prom, Homecoming, Football games, Pep rallys, etc. Yes, there are people who really do want to go to these events, but there are plenty of people I know that don't really want to go but do anyway because they fear missing out... I went to Prom with one of my close friends and I loved it, but I went to the Middle College prom and we only had like maybe 60 people. It was a very intimate setting and it just felt like a big party of friends. I don't like football, but I was sort of pressured to feel as if I was missing out if I didn't go to the games. (I still only went to one game a year, the Warfield Shield game, since it was one of the biggest games). I went to my freshmen year homecoming and honestly it was dreadfully boring, so I didn't go the next years and people were like "aw you're missing out." Sophomore year, I felt I had to g...

Maroon 5 Concert

Saturday: February 28, 2015 Hey guys! Well as some of you may know from my  previous blog post  , I saw FREAKING MAROON 5 LAST NIGHT!  Okay sorry my keyboard just like randomly went all caps, you know how keyboards can be. Anyway, yes I went to go see Maroon 5 last night with my friends David, Giulia, and Nicole. They came to pick me up from school around 4:30 and we drove directly to Nashville along with what seemed like the rest of the population but David's driving skills laugh in the face of traffic so we got there in a timely manner.  First we stopped by Wendy's to grab some food but I wasn't all that hungry so just got fries and a drink while David and Giulia got meals. Then we parked in the back of a McDonald's parking lot, a few streets away from the Bridgestone Arena, and just walked the rest of the way. The concert itself was so amazing, Rozzi Crane and Magic! opened for Maroon 5 but they finally came on at about 9 and the concert was over ...

Average Day

Friday: January 23, 2015      Being a junior in high school pretty much just means tests upon tests upon tests. This morning I had a writing assessment comparing two articles about birth order and how it affects your personality and possibly your future. It was rather intriguing to be honest. (Random Side Note: this is my outfit today, blue plazzo pants, navy blue v-neck, high white socks, grey boots, and a tan scarf) Then however, I as well as my friend Emilia, had a four hour break, hence the coffee and the laptops and the books in which we devoured ourselves into to pass the time. Oh and yes, I ordered my USB cable for my camera so that should be coming very soon! :) Next was a little endeavor after chemistry class in which Heather, Brittany and I went to the library to meet my best friend David just to walk back out in the rain/sleet/snow to sit in his car until Brittany's mom came and drive Heather to her car. Tonight I also w...
