I decided that since I would spending some time outside I'd wear a dress, one of the ones my mom gave me actually. (: Then I did the dishes because I didn't feel like doing them last night.
I ate toast with nutella for breakfast and watched an episode of "The Bold and The Beautiful" (a literal soap opera) with my mom since it's sort of our morning ritual.
Anyway, we went to the market and it was just GREAT <3!
The first thing we did was get a cute basket that you can fill up with as much vegetables as you want and the first time you use it, it's $10 and if you bring back the basket, you can keep filling it up for $9. It's a really great deal since it's fresh vegetables and the amount that we got probably would have cost $20 at Walmart.
I also ran into Jana, our first year TA at Watauga. She had her own booth with her art/prints, they were really cool! Plus it was nice to catch up, I love her<3
My mom and I spent some time just walking around, looking at the cute booths and talking. We even ran into one of the ladies that goes to the church my mom works at, Mrs. Renee, who had her own booth of flowers and jams! We ended up getting a parsley plant, a hanging basket of flowers, and some Elderberry syrup. It was great!
After putting our buys in the car, we stopped by a cute new coffee shop on the corner of Strawberry Alley, Hops Java & Juice. It's a super cute place! I bought my mom and I two iced lattes, which were great!
Overall, it was a wonderful morning. And tonight, David is coming over for a movie night with pizza. Him and I have been having these for months now, pretty much ever since we became good friends. I love them, they're just our little friendship thing (that we share with our other friends haha). So yeah, it seems to be a good day so far and it's only 10:30! :)
