Final Exhibition Day!!! So breakfast was at 8:30, our last one all together. Then I had a cello "lesson"/warm-up with Dr.Lara to practice for my performance at 9:30, followed by dance rehearsal with Margaret to go through Piper's and my solo and duet. Piper and I then went back to her dorm room to begin our hair and makeup until my mom came for checkout which was at 11. So I got all my suitcases and bags out of my room before turning in my key card and dorm room key, I got to keep the lanyard. :) Andrea, Austin, Margaret, Dr. Zyko, Noel, Eli, Piper, Avery, and I ate lunch in the Terrace where they had pizza. Shortly before we all left, Kyle came by as well. We all got to Trahern around 1, where we saw the Art Exhibition before getting ready/warming up... The program went: 1. My Ballet Solo 2. Piper's Ballet Solo 3. Art Talk 4. Avery & Grace's Duet 5. Illy's Singing Solo 6. Piper's & My Modern Duet 7. Theatre Showcase 8. Wearabl...

Ballet and Modern this morning were a bit rough because I couldn't do any forward bends, head rolls, turns, or spins. So yeah, imagine trying to dance. It was alright though, I managed for most of the classes. :) At 1:30 I had my last lesson with Dr.Bailey which I was so happy to have and we worked on my Final Exhibition piece which was GETTING SO GOOD! <3 Right after class, Dr.Lara drove Piper and I back to the dorms to get ready for our 2nd Nashville excursion. This time however, my lovely and wonderful friend Mary Mac from Watauga last year, joined us!<3 So the ride there I talked with her a bit, then our first stop was Hatch Show Print. Literally, wow. It was so amazing and cool. We got a tour of the print, the press', and saw some awesome posters being made. I stopped in the gift shop and bought myself a coffee mug, a button, a pin, and a postcard for my parent's to put on the fridge. We also walked around the little gallery out front which was pretty...

So I have a concussion. Great, right? Yeah apparently I hit my head way harder than I thought Monday night in my dorm room, because I was getting sick, feeling nauseous, and having severe migraines since. So Margaret asked for my mom to take me to the ER where I learned I had a concussion. I had slept in (purposefully) since I didn't feel well and after lunch when I was suppose to have Musical Theatre (MY FAVORITE CLASS), I had to go to the ER. Yeah. I cried in the car. But I got back around 4:30 for Cross Disciplinary Theatre Improv with Margaret, Steven & Megan (both APSU students) so that was nice. We ended the evening with Theatre night, where we heard several reader's theatre being performed by Megan, Steven, Dr.Bailey, his wife Sarah, Margaret and her husband Noel. Theatre night ended with Dr.Bailey and his wife singing several songs which were PHENOMENAL. Have I mentioned I love them? Unfortunately I had a terrible migraine that evening so I went straig...

Morning with Piper began as usual; Ballet and Modern with Kim, which were tremendously fun but tiring. Not to mention I had slipped in my room the night before because my roommate had taken a shower and by the time I got to the room, all the lights were off so I fell... Yeah it hurt. Anyway, after lunch Piper and I both had our music lessons that Dr.Lara generously offered to drive us to the music building and back. When we got back to the dance building, we watched several dance videos with Marcus for "dance history", so that was pretty cool. :) Interdisciplinary was average, I'm not a big fan of physically making objects so the project was a bit difficult for me. But it was still alright. Next we had Yoga all together which was obviously so relaxing and wonderful. I love Yoga<3 Our final activity was "Super Fun Night" which we had in the courtyard of the dorms, playing games. There were board games (like twister), chalk, wiffleball, bubbles, and ...
