Busy Sunday

Image
Thankfully, last night I got plenty of sleep (I was so freaking exhausted) and this morning I managed to sleep in until about 9:30 which was nice. I made myself some breakfast, which was actually just left overs from the restaurant last night... I was too lazy to actually make something. And I watched some YouTube videos. Then it was straight to work. I had to compensate for yesterday since I was busy literally all day and I had tons of homework to get done today. Mom and I also managed to fill out my CSS profile to send to American University, so we'll see how that all goes. But yeah, today was a just a catch up day on chores and homework. (:

Pope John Paul II High School - Science Olympiad Invitational

Image
Well last night I was throwing up ALL THROUGHOUT the night. So I only got maybe a solid two hours of sleep and had to wake up at 4:30... At 5:30, my mom and I left the house to go to Austin Peay to meet with Science Olympiad to go to Pope John Paul II High School for our Invitational Mock Competition. I got sick several times along the journey but we finally got there at 7:45 and our first competition was at 8. First for me was Invasive Species with Kimberly from 8:00-8:50. The test was pretty hard since we didn't have a list of the species and were expected to name 15 of them off a screen within seconds.Directly afterwards was Anatomy with Gabby from 9:00-9:50 which I know we did well at because she is practically a walking, talking Anatomy text book. Thankfully then I had a little lunch break to prepare for Green Generation which was at 11:00-11:50. Now that, went awful because Whitney and I thought we had all the right kind of information and didn't. Then was Astronomy...

Andrew Tyson Pianist Concert

This morning Mom and I actually did attend the PiYo class at the YMCA and I absolutely hated it. But the gym had complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby so the sucky class was made up for with some nice Green Tea(: At 10, my mom dropped me off at the Trahern building of Austin Peay for my first Voice lesson of the semester with Dr.Bailey. Ironically, our lesson times are exactly the same as last semester's. We decided to work on "My Stupid Mouth" first and we picked out a few more songs to begin working with(:  Directly after, like 15 minutes, I had my Media Class where we watched three music-type videos that all were the same in some way. We watched Def Leopard with Taylor Swift, Aerosmith with RUN-DMC, and Queen with David Bowie. Basically they were all the same because they were all music juxtapositions within themselves. It was neat. Then I sprinted, and I mean sprinted, to the Foy (all the way across campus) within three minutes and changed within two to attend...

To Pardon or Not To Pardon

To pardon or not to pardon, that is the question: “The thousand natural shocks” of watching one break A loved one’s heart into millions of shambled pieces. To observe “the pangs of despised love” but being far too young to assuage the damage done. But wait, to have connection to both and have one hurt the other is a strange and confusing predicament to be in, for how does one address the hurt of one without blaming the other? Or are they both to blame? No, for if one is to truly hurt another it is to take their kindness and patience for weakness and that in itself is abuse of love in the name of what we are supposed to know what love is about. “Thus conscience does make cowards of us all” , for who are we to think our superiority reigns over another when we are willing to hurt them in the most degrading way possible. To sit and to watch the situation as it passes by is a hard reality to overcome when being in such an awkward stage of not being ...

The Return of the Icee

Image
Heather came to my house bright and early this morning since we had Statistics at 8 am (although we actually had a sub because our professor was sick). I mean this is college, who gets a sub in college? The guy had the same last name as her so we were trying to figure out if he was her husband or her brother.. Regardless, we had a lab-type-activity today on the computer but we finished it pretty quickly. My mom came to pick me up afterwards because Alexander and I had doctor's appointments on post until noon today. Thankfully we stopped by the Food Court on Fort Campbell to eat lunch, I got a Chinese Garden plate and mmmm it was great. I was a few minutes late to Physics but that's okay because we were just taking notes and doing example problems. Heather came to our class today so then we could do homework and stuff in the library afterwards. We managed to get a lot done (as in I finished my English assignment, Physics close read, and Assignment One of Statistics). At 6,...

Awkward Occurances

Image
This morning Mom and I were supposed to go to our PiYo class, but I didn't get out of bed until 7:30 and she busy doing things all morning so instead, I asked Heather to pick me up at 10:30 to bring me to school. (: At 11:15, I had my Media Literacy class and it went pretty well. We finished off our ice breakers for the class, he gave us a syllabus and we started talking about why the media put out different products. Then at 12:30, my mom came to APSU for us to fill out the FAFSA with an actual FAFSA official (I have no clue how to call that woman) so that was good. I can't believe that in 4 months I graduate high school. Like WHAT. I went to eat lunch so Heather came and joined me but we only had a little bit to talk before I had to leave for English. In that class we watched several of Hamlet's "To Be Or Not To Be" soliloquy's and were told we'd have to write a similar speech ourselves over a personal moral dilemma. That'll be due Friday. Righ...

Consonance

Welcome to Consonance Since the beginnings of time human beings have been connected to their surroundings, however, there are only few who have been able to harness and control these elements around and within them. First came Gaea, Mother Earth, maker of the planet through harnessing her powers. She created the entirety of the earth that had first started as a blank, white emptiness. Stumbling upon a simple speck of dirt, Gaea connected with and replicated it to create the planet in which humans would live on for the rest of their lives. Next followed, Brana, founder of fire. During the birth of humans, cavemen were common around the world. Brana, fascinated by the light of day, found a way to turn the darkness of night into the brightness of day by connecting with the sun. The first caveman to create fire was not simply a brawn but a brain, utilizing the sun’s energy to create fire. Third was Geneviere, a Celtic maiden, with a fine tuned connection with the moon. Surrounded by wa...

CMCSS: 2 hour Delay - APSU as planned

Image
Yeah, CMCSS milked it out as much as they possibly could and there was a two hour delay this morning. Wonderful, right? Sadly, I still had my 8 am Statistics class so I got up super early, took a shower, got ready, and made my lunch/breakfast in time for Heather to pick me up at 7 am (: In Stats, we took notes on Chapter Two and did some examples. My professor is a bit nutty and she's so clearly into math that not only did she start class early, but she wouldn't stop talking until 10 minutes past class either. Man. Anyway, then Heather and I walked to the Library to work on some homework and such before lunch time. Then at 12:45, I had Physics and we had a lab which was dreadful! Ah. We had to boil water and put beads into it and see the temperature change, it was just ugh. I hate labs. After Physics, Heather, Brittany and I went to a Yoga class at about 7 and that too was just awful. It was just that the teacher wasn't all that great.

High School Snow Day - APSU full Day

Image
Well this morning I was SUPPOSED to wake up around 7 am butttttt didn't get out of bed until 8:45. It was pretty heart breaking. Anyway, I got ready, made breakfast, and lunch and by 10:30 Heather was at my house to go to Austin Peay.  Today I had my first Media Literacy class! Well my professor was 20 minutes late but it was already super intriguing. We only had an ice breaker today so we went around the room giving 3 media sources that have shaped our lives. Mine were Great Expectations by Charles Dickens,  the TV show Friends, and Gary Yourofsky that convinced me to become Vegan. (: Heather and I decided to go to the gym and HOLY FREAKING CRAP I THOUGHT I WAS GIONG TO DIE... But it was good. I really want to get fit and healthy and gain muscle and loose a few pounds. <33 Then we stopped by the library to get some work done until about 4:30. Going to her house, she gave me TONS of clothes (she literally hoards clothes and has a million things) so that was pretty aw...

Ghost

Image
I'm searching for something that I can't reach I don't like them innocent I don't want no face fresh Want them wearing leather Begging, let me be your taste test I like the sad eyes, bad guys Mouth full of white lies Kiss me in the corridor, But quick to tell me goodbye You say that you're no good for me Cause I'm always tugging at your sleeve And I swear I hate you when you leave But I like it anyway My ghost Where'd you go? I can't find you in the body sleeping next to me My ghost Where'd you go? What happened to the soul that you used to be? You're a "Rolling Stone" boy "Never sleep alone" boy "Got a million numbers And they're filling up your phone", boy I'm off the deep end, sleeping All night through the weekend Saying that I love him but I know I'm gonna leave him You say that you're no good for me Cause I'm always tuggi...

Today was supposed to be productive... Needless to say, I spent 99% of my time on the internet (primarily YouTube) and outside in the snow... This morning I woke up around 10:30 and made breakfast with my mom<3 Fruits and fruits and more fruits! Afterwards, I went outside and took some photos. I looked very Russian according to Alexander; makes sense, I am trying to fulfill my Russian potential after all ;P So yes, that's about it! Sorry for the short post, but really I spent all my time on social media.
