Pope John Paul II High School - Science Olympiad Invitational
Well last night I was throwing up ALL THROUGHOUT the night. So I only got maybe a solid two hours of sleep and had to wake up at 4:30... At 5:30, my mom and I left the house to go to Austin Peay to meet with Science Olympiad to go to Pope John Paul II High School for our Invitational Mock Competition. I got sick several times along the journey but we finally got there at 7:45 and our first competition was at 8.
First for me was Invasive Species with Kimberly from 8:00-8:50. The test was pretty hard since we didn't have a list of the species and were expected to name 15 of them off a screen within seconds.Directly afterwards was Anatomy with Gabby from 9:00-9:50 which I know we did well at because she is practically a walking, talking Anatomy text book.
Thankfully then I had a little lunch break to prepare for Green Generation which was at 11:00-11:50. Now that, went awful because Whitney and I thought we had all the right kind of information and didn't.
Then was Astronomy from 12:00-12:50 which was THE WORST. Bristol and I didn't even finish the test. Forensics went a lot better but we didn't have enough time to complete the tests, so we had to do a lot of guess work.
On the bus ride home, I was so mentally exhausted that I managed to get about 20 minutes of sleep but kept getting woken up by the loud noises on the bus. When we got back to APSU, mom and I decided to meet up with my Dad and Alexander at a restaurant for us to eat dinner and it was fun(: Alexander got a haircut so that was cool.
Then when we got home, my brother and I decided to have some bonding time by playing monopoly for like 4 hours. It was so fun! (:
