Awkward Occurances
This morning Mom and I were supposed to go to our PiYo class, but I didn't get out of bed until 7:30 and she busy doing things all morning so instead, I asked Heather to pick me up at 10:30 to bring me to school. (:
At 11:15, I had my Media Literacy class and it went pretty well. We finished off our ice breakers for the class, he gave us a syllabus and we started talking about why the media put out different products. Then at 12:30, my mom came to APSU for us to fill out the FAFSA with an actual FAFSA official (I have no clue how to call that woman) so that was good. I can't believe that in 4 months I graduate high school. Like WHAT.
I went to eat lunch so Heather came and joined me but we only had a little bit to talk before I had to leave for English. In that class we watched several of Hamlet's "To Be Or Not To Be" soliloquy's and were told we'd have to write a similar speech ourselves over a personal moral dilemma. That'll be due Friday.
Right after that was Economics and we presented our Island project which went pretty well I think. It was interesting to hear the rest of my classmate's Islands as well.
Then, the awkward occurrence of the week happens. Heather and I are walking through the UC because it's cold and we have to get to the Foy for a work out class and these two guys come up and start talking to us. Really it was one and he's flirting and asking us if we're freshman (so we lie and say yeah) and he's talking about like Star Wars and weird things and I don't know what to do because I mean I'm Katya, I don't handle these types of social things well and he turns to Heather and asks "Do you mind if I flirt with your friend really quick?" AND SHE REPLIES "Yeah sure, I have a boyfriend so I mean.." and i'm like no heather no why'd you do this to me.... guys it was so strange. And he asked for my number and I didn't know what to do and I was sweating and oh man it was awkward.
Heather and I literally practically sprint to the Foy right after out of sheer awkward nervousness. But we take our Cycling class and it was great (hard, but great) and then go work out for Chest. (:
