Core & More

Rather than working out at 7 am this morning, Heather and I decided to go around 9 but I still ended up waking up at 6. So, I ate a nice little breakfast. First a cup of coffee, then a cereal bar, and lastly a banana. 



At 8:45, Heather showed up at my house and we went to the Foy at Austin Peay. Today's work out was legs and butt since we were going to attend "Core & More" later in the evening so that would take care of our abs.

Showering and getting ready, we were done by 11 so she dropped me off at the UC so I could eat lunch before class and she went to meet up with David. During this lunch time of mine, I decided to watch some YouTube videos (since I was alone) and stumbled on some Vegan YouTubers. And oh man! I was so interested in the information they gave that it honestly made me wonder if I'd like to become Vegan in the future. I'm still working on the Vegetarian transition, but I think once I move to Knoxville, I'd like to give it a shot!



Anyway, at 1:45 I had English and again we just watched Hamlet. I managed to take about 4 pages of notes (front and back) so I could read over them later. Then for Economics, we met in the library since we're doing a project where we have to create an island as a group and come up with a government and it's economic policies. It's pretty fun. Emilia, Channel, Heather, and I are in a group.

We were done by 4:30 so we still had lots of time, so the four of us went to the UC and talked until the building closed and all went our separate ways. Heather and I walked to the Foy for our Core & More class... and man oh man. It was very intense. We're not sure if we'll go to it on a regular basis, only when we're feeling fierce...

By 7:00, we were done and David picked up Heather and my mom picked up me so we could go to Alexander's tuba/trombone lesson. That was done by 8, we stopped by Arby's to get some sides since we were starving and then went home to eat actual food. After dinner, Alexander came up to my room and we talked for about thirty minutes about random things like high school and band since he's in 8th grade and going to high school next year! (which is insane) Very good day, I'd say. (:

Chapters 14-16 (Creature's POV) - Entry #4

After Frankenstein abandons the creature, other than our short encounter in the woods when Victor is returning from Geneva, we are not exposed to him again until Victor’s retreat to the mountains. In chapter eleven, the creature opens his tale saying he is not quite sure of the beginning of his being; his initial memories and sensations began with his retreat to the woods after Frankenstein’s apartment. Living off berries and nuts, the creature was confused but learning survival skills along the way, including how to set and maintain a fire. I found this lonely encounter may have been initially good for the creature because it allowed him to figure out his surroundings of this new life he was brought into; however, keeping in mind while he is the great, big creature, he is very much in the dark about life and society itself, and without Victor to help him, he was completely and utterly alone.
