Cat got Treed? Call 911!

Last night I pretty much crashed around 10:30 and didn't wake up this morning until about 10 am. I got dressed quickly and grabbed some food, shoving it in my purse so I could go with my mom to her choir rehearsal. For some reason, I love going on Saturday mornings, sitting in the car and just reading. (:

We had to stop by Walmart to get a few things and oh man was I sore. But it's so worth it. When we got home, there was a man in our yard, someone we hadn't seen before. Well turns out, it was our neighbor two houses down and his cat was stuck in a tree in our backyard. Very movie like, right? Needless to say, nobody could climb the tree because it was all wet and the branches not sturdy enough to hold our weight. So what did we do? We called 911 to have firefighters bring their ladder to climb the tree to get the poor cat down. Yep. That happened.

So after all that nonsense, my mom checked the mail and I received an ADVANCED READER'S COPY OF Away We Go by Emil Ostrovski!! So that was exciting!

After dinner, I managed to finish Brooklyn by Colm Tolbin which I really enjoyed!<3
