Electricity

Sometimes I wonder if you understand

How much you hurt us, especially her

Your head was in the clouds, nowhere near land

Not caring for the emotions you stirred.

A jerk to all in near proximity,

Having no consideration for any

The pain you caused like electricity,

Shocking anyone wet in pain and fear.

Exploding most of the time around us

You didn't even care to turn around

All you saw was us flying the dust

So please don't bother even coming home bound.

Seeing you stand in the rearview mirror

Somehow made our lives that much clearer.
