hey babes<3
I managed to actually stay in bed this morning until 8 am!! :) Woo! For breakfast, I had a bagel and a pear with some tea<3 Mom is getting sick so I told her to drink some white tea, since that helps the common cold.
At 9:15, I woke up my brother since he had a doctor's appointment onpost. We all left at 10:30, his appointment at 11:00.
Afterwards, we had some errands to run at the Commissary and then the PX, so we decided to grab some lunch.
Coming home at 2:30ish, I spent my afternoon reading Red Queen by Victoria Ayevard. Although I enjoyed the book and the characters were entertaining, I felt that it was extremely overhyped and very similar to other YA dystopian/magical books I've read before. Hopefully the next book will be better.(:
I also managed to read In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winter which I rated a 5/5 stars. It was so haunting and touching that I cried several times throughout the book. I absolutely loved it!
