Heyyy. :)

Today was a bit better, I've still been feeling a little sick but oh well.

This morning I had a doctor's appointment at 8 am to discuss my dietary switch to Vegetarianism and they did some blood work to make sure I'm all good.

Then my mom dropped me off at school and I worked on some homework and then we went to the UC to get some lunch before I had class.

In English we talked about the Pardoner's Tale from the Canterbury Tales (we had to read it for homework) and then we took a 7 Deadly Sins Quiz where I learned my two most prominent sins are Wrath and Pride. Which, honestly, I'm not surprised. I do get frustrated easily and lash out on people (I've gotten better at it) and one of my biggest pet peeves is being embarrassed in front of people. For example, if someone makes me look foolish or stupid, I hate it and then I get angry (hence the Wrath). So yeah.

After class I stopped by Starbucks to get a Gingerbread loaf (in fact I got two) and then I had Government. In class, we had some notes over taxes and then filled out a fake 1040 EZ form.

Then Heather and I headed to the UC to chill for about an hour before going to Westcreek High School to see Guilia in Fable Fest, which was just a bunch of short little plays that different groups wrote involving a bunch of fairy tale or fictional characters. It was fun. :) Unfortunately, Heather and I left before the end because we have our Algebra exam tomorrow morning and still had some stuff to get together. But yeah, that was my day. :)

Chapters 14-16 (Creature's POV) - Entry #4

After Frankenstein abandons the creature, other than our short encounter in the woods when Victor is returning from Geneva, we are not exposed to him again until Victor’s retreat to the mountains. In chapter eleven, the creature opens his tale saying he is not quite sure of the beginning of his being; his initial memories and sensations began with his retreat to the woods after Frankenstein’s apartment. Living off berries and nuts, the creature was confused but learning survival skills along the way, including how to set and maintain a fire. I found this lonely encounter may have been initially good for the creature because it allowed him to figure out his surroundings of this new life he was brought into; however, keeping in mind while he is the great, big creature, he is very much in the dark about life and society itself, and without Victor to help him, he was completely and utterly alone.
