colder than this home

I'm I woke up morning with a hazy fog, as if I was in a dream. Woke up in a really bad mood, probably due to how my night ended last night (awful, to say the least). So I sort of laid in my bed for about an hour, scrolling through social media until I felt strong enough to get up. 



I was going to make myself breakfast, but then my mom said she wanted to make a big breakfast, so I did the dishes, fed the indoor pets, and helped with breakfast. It was good. Nice to talk with Alexander and my mom.  



Mom got a package this morning from this French Company that she orders from, which had two gifts for me: A Paris Umbrella and a French mug!! It was great!!!<3



My mom had Choir rehearsal around 1:30, so while she made phone calls to Greece and showered, I got dressed in my new beige boots, a beige top, and jeans. (: You know what they say, right? Always look better than you feel, makes it worthwhile.

So while she was in the church, I read some of Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. Afterwards, I had two books to return and two to pick up from the library. I almost checked out some more but I have so many stacks in my bedroom, that I convinced myself to not even bother.

We got home around 4:00 to a package on our doorstep from one of my best friends, Meghan. I opened it to find a Starbucks Travel mug from New Mexico (where she lives now) and a lovely letter<3 It meant the world. (:  



Then, I was getting hungry so I ate sushi with some cheese, followed by some chocolate and Twizzlers while I watched Gossip Girl.

Chapters 14-16 (Creature's POV) - Entry #4

After Frankenstein abandons the creature, other than our short encounter in the woods when Victor is returning from Geneva, we are not exposed to him again until Victor’s retreat to the mountains. In chapter eleven, the creature opens his tale saying he is not quite sure of the beginning of his being; his initial memories and sensations began with his retreat to the woods after Frankenstein’s apartment. Living off berries and nuts, the creature was confused but learning survival skills along the way, including how to set and maintain a fire. I found this lonely encounter may have been initially good for the creature because it allowed him to figure out his surroundings of this new life he was brought into; however, keeping in mind while he is the great, big creature, he is very much in the dark about life and society itself, and without Victor to help him, he was completely and utterly alone.
