Bad Habits
What bad habit would you like to change?
Negativity and constantly pushing myself to limits I'm not sure I can keep up with.
I've realized that I can be a very negative person. I complain at least 5 times a day about different things, out loud, even if I'm not feeling negative about it. For example, I'll complain about doing certain homework assignments but I'm not really feeling negative about it. So it's as if I just randomly complain about things for no real reason. It's just words coming out of my mouth with no real emotion. And then I get frustrated when people call me a "negative person" but how can I blame them when all I do is complain.
Secondly, I push myself constantly. I feel that I need to push myself to crazy limits to the point where I get 3 hours of sleep and no time to do anything but go, go, go. I need to recognize when my body and mind is tired so I can take some rest time. I need to be able to just sit outside and reflect. That's one of my favorite pass-times. My cello professor even says that I tend to not take a break and that I need to, that's exactly what breaks are for. Not just to re-energize for the after the break, but to actually take a break and just relax.
So those are the two main habits that I've been trying to work on for myself.
