Hey guys! Here's just some Monday motivation! <333
This morning I woke up at 7:30 when I was supposed to go running at 7:15, but I was just too tired so I skipped a day.
Anyway, I ate breakfast (bagel with cream-cheese and an apple) while watching some TV with my mom. Then I decided to do some college/scholarship research for a little bit and make sure to write down deadlines.
My first and only class of the day was Government at 3:10, but my dad dropped me off on campus around 1 because he had to go to work so I spent that time organizing my emails and doing my English Independent Assignment which was taking notes on Introduction to Beowulf and reading parts of the translation given to us by our teacher.
In Government, we took notes on our freedoms and their limitations.
After class, Emilia, Channel and I went to the Study Abroad fair on APSU where we got free t-shirts so that was pretty cool. Then I volunteered at the College Fair from 5:45-6:45 through Key Club, before walking around with Gabby, Emilia and Channel and looking at colleges. I found some that were pretty interesting involving Journalism and Literature so I'll just have to do some more college research.
After that, my mom came to the fair so we looked around together a bit before going to pick up my younger brother from his tuba lesson, stopped by Walmart, and came home to eat dinner.
I spent the rest of my evening studying, doing homework, and organizing.
Now it's going on 11:45 and I have an early day tomorrow so I should probably go to bed.

Chapters 14-16 (Creature's POV) - Entry #4

After Frankenstein abandons the creature, other than our short encounter in the woods when Victor is returning from Geneva, we are not exposed to him again until Victor’s retreat to the mountains. In chapter eleven, the creature opens his tale saying he is not quite sure of the beginning of his being; his initial memories and sensations began with his retreat to the woods after Frankenstein’s apartment. Living off berries and nuts, the creature was confused but learning survival skills along the way, including how to set and maintain a fire. I found this lonely encounter may have been initially good for the creature because it allowed him to figure out his surroundings of this new life he was brought into; however, keeping in mind while he is the great, big creature, he is very much in the dark about life and society itself, and without Victor to help him, he was completely and utterly alone.
