Salutations Long Lost Friends!
Hello internet friends.
I know. I haven't blogged in what feels like years. Don't worry, I reminded myself every single day since my last blog post to post another blog post.
But I didn't.
And you want to know why I didn't?
Well, I came to this conclusion that it was unfair of me to ask myself to write a blog post if I didn't want to write a blog post. I blog because I love it, because I think it's fun, because it's my hobby. So why should I write a blog post if 1) I don't feel like writing a blog post and B) I don't have any content to blog about?
*See what I did in that sentence? Haha look at me putting little jokes*
Okay, but really I just haven't had any interesting thoughts or experiences or even structure in the past few days to sit in front of my tablet/laptop and write a worthy blog post. (Then again, is this worthy? Or do I just miss blogging? I guess you could comment below your opinion but be nice!)
Anyway, this week was kind of rough. My friend, Victor, a French foreign exchange student from Canada, had to go back home this week. Last Friday Victor, Steve (a German foreign exchange student that lived in the same host house as him), and their host mom invited me to go to the Nashville Zoo with them. It was a wonderful, marvelous day that I will be posting in a separate blog post relatively soon. Late. But soon. We also went out for lunch, lounged at their home, ate dinner at Panera and went to a Mary Poppins play downtown with my mom. It was great.
Sadly, on Monday evening my mom and I went to their house to say our goodbyes and ended up making plans to stop by Tuesday morning so I could ride with them to the airport. Again, very sad.
Tuesday at 10:15 I also had my final Junior year exam and I was done with my spring semester. I can officially say, I am now a senior. Like what? I remember my first day of high school, middle school and well even grade school/kindergarten. (Fun Fact: I went to three kindergartens in three different languages. My first was a German Kindergarten in Kaiserslautern, next a Greek Kindergarten Zagora, and lastly an American Kindergarten in Schweinfurt on a military base). So it kind of amazes me that I'm going into my final year of high school but I'm very excited for the ride.
So I guess you're wondering, "Um okay, Katya. If you're on your summer break why didn't you blog if you had free time and fun experiences?" Right?
Well that's where you're wrong. Since Tuesday I have read 9 books, watched God only knows how many BookTube videos, and ate so much food.
That's right. I slumped and bummed. And I have no regrets people!
So yeah that's what I've been up to but I'm glad it happened because now I have several exciting posts coming up that I am so eager to write and post and get feed back on. I see all of you viewers (aka my internet friends. I can call you my friends. Right?) but I have hardly any comments. Even if your prefer to be anonymous, just comment. About anything. How your day went, a blog post you'd like for me to post so we can further discuss, encouragement, feedback, criticism (Please be nice though), or just
ANYTHING SO I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE NOT ROBOTS!
You'll get it if you comment.
Thanks for reading and I'll talk to you all very soon.
XoXo
