Geography Lessons During Dinner
Tuesday: February 24, 2015
Sorry I didn't manage to actually write this yesterday, it's just that by the time I remembered it I was crawling into bed.
Anyway, I woke up initially at 8 yesterday morning, came down stairs, opened the fridge and two seconds after my mom said "good morning", I uttered "I'm going back to bed" and promptly did so. I managed to actually motivate myself to get up around 10:30, changing into a pastel blue sweater (made by my great-grandmother), black pants, and black boots. I've gotten into the habit of doing my makeup now so it's just part of my morning routine.
Then my mom and I drove to the university for my one and only class of the day, American History. Class went well, we're just now getting into the West after the Civil War. Although I much rather preferred my previous teacher last semester, my current one is alright too. But after class I didn't have anything else to do so my mom drove me home.
I was actually supposed to have Dance class, but I took a really bad fall a few days ago and now I have an extreme pain from my hip all the way down to my ankle on my right leg and can not put any weight into it.
But upon arriving at home, I decided to just read until dinner.
My brother challenged me to naming all 50 states in 20 minutes which was completely easy, in fact I finished in 13, but when I asked him to do the same he got to 23 states then was utterly stumped. My mom gave him clues for the rest of the states, but it exceed well past 20 minutes. It's okay though, not everyone is book smart.
Then oddly enough, my brother and I bonded a bit a watched some YouTube videos together.
At 11:30 I headed up to my bedroom where I FaceTimed my best friend, Ben, until about 2 in the morning.
