Starbucks Study Date

Wednesday: January 21, 2015

Tonight I was invited by one of my precious friends Hanna, to go to Starbucks to just hang out, drink coffee, and do homework. Basically, do my favorite things with one of my favorite people, so obviously I said yes. Hanna is a foreign exchange student from Sweden who I used to have French class with before I transferred over to Middle College this semester. She's literally so sweet and funny, and I pretty much love her. She studied for her Ancient History test coming up with one of the best teachers at our previous school, while I tried to finish up my Rosetta Stone units for French. It was super fun to chat during between working for a few breaks and just relax in Starbucks doing homework. Can't wait for our next study date. :)

Oh yes, I don't understand why a single person only watching something on his tablet would take up a four-seat table of himself when the Starbucks is relatively fully.... yes, and we saw some kids from my old school and like they did not even not how to Starbucks....
"I hope their coffee gets cold"

Regardless though, it was fun :)

Chapters 14-16 (Creature's POV) - Entry #4

After Frankenstein abandons the creature, other than our short encounter in the woods when Victor is returning from Geneva, we are not exposed to him again until Victor’s retreat to the mountains. In chapter eleven, the creature opens his tale saying he is not quite sure of the beginning of his being; his initial memories and sensations began with his retreat to the woods after Frankenstein’s apartment. Living off berries and nuts, the creature was confused but learning survival skills along the way, including how to set and maintain a fire. I found this lonely encounter may have been initially good for the creature because it allowed him to figure out his surroundings of this new life he was brought into; however, keeping in mind while he is the great, big creature, he is very much in the dark about life and society itself, and without Victor to help him, he was completely and utterly alone.
